Internship (m/f/d)

For our Frankfurt office to assist in M&A, capital raising and strategy projects.

The offered internship position is aimed at students (m/f/d) from the fields of finance/accounting/management (ideally a successful bachelor’s degree) who would like to gain experience in a renowned M&A consulting firm in a 3-6 month internship (voluntary or mandatory).

Steinbeis M&A offers its clients a comprehensive and professional range of consulting or services in the areas of (1) Mergers & Acquisitions (2) Buy-and-Build, (3) Strategy and (4) Capital Advisory, across all industries. Clients are in particular medium-sized entrepreneurs, companies and groups of companies in Germany and abroad, but also international groups of companies that want to establish themselves in the medium-sized market.

Tasks

Participation in the execution of M&A, capital raising and strategy projects as well as in the acquisition (pitches) or preparation of new clients and the independent supervision and execution of (partial) projects.

• Preparation of marketing documents (e.g. teaser and investment memorandum)
• Carrying out company valuations according to standard valuation methods and the preparation of financial plans (financial modeling)
• Carrying out detailed market and industry analysis as well as researching potential investors or targets
• Support of acquisition and marketing activities
• Support in internal strategy development and/or the establishment of additional business areas

Skills

• Studies in the field of finance/accounting/management with a successful bachelor’s degree
• High degree of independence and commitment
• Analytical thinking skills
• Excellent handling of MS-Office applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Team player
• Fluent proficiency in both written and spoken German and English is required.
