The family-owned company B\u00fcrkert Fluid Control Systems and the start-up Green Elephant Biotech have announced a strategic partnership. As part of this, B\u00fcrkert is taking a stake in Green Elephant Biotech as a strategic investor with the aim of jointly developing more efficient, flexible and sustainable cell cultivation systems.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Steinbeis M&A provided comprehensive advice and hands-on support for the transaction and completed it in less than six months. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Green Elephant Biotech is specialized in the development of sustainable products for the research and industrial production of cell cultures. Its core competence lies in the delivery of efficient solutions for the expansion of adherent cells in its proprietary CellScrew\u00ae reactors. This platform is now being further developed into an integrated system for cost-effective cell cultivation in biopharma, especially for personalized medicine. To that end, B\u00fcrkert is contributing technical components and its extensive expertise in the field of liquid handling, while benefitting from the partner\u2019s access to current trends and developments in the biopharmaceutical market. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
