From February 2021, Oliver Gaess will lead the Karlsruhe office of Steinbeis M&A as a partner. Prior to joining Steinbeis M&A, he was Head of Strategy and M&A of the industrial business of TE Connectivity, the global market leader for sensor and connectivity technology with USD 14 billion in sales. Prior to that, he held several management positions, was Head of Strategy and M&A at Belden and LSG Lufthansa, and was a consultant at Roland Berger Strategy for many years.
As an expert in M&A, Oliver Gaess has initiated, led and successfully implemented numerous transactions and carve-outs in corporate succession, distressed environments and in connection with consolidation and buy & build strategies and brings more than 20 years of M&A and Transactions Services experience to Steinbeis M&A.

At Steinbeis M&A, Oliver Gaess, together with currently 16 other partners, will provide comprehensive advice to medium-sized clients, investors and responsible parties in crisis/insolvency situations on M&A projects, distressed M&A and buy-and-build strategies. His focus is on the industrial automation, electrical and electronic components, mechanical engineering, IOT and venture capital and real estate sectors.
