Dr. Thore Behrens

Dr. Thore Behrens is Partner at Steinbeis M&A Partners GmbH based in Berlin.

Previous work experience:

• As Vice President Special Projects at Saxenhammer Int. (today Zumera), an M&A advisory firm focused on small & medium-sized companies, Dr. Behrens was responsible for leading the firm’s strategic development and managing the implementation of digital infrastructure and processes.
• Banking Consult Executive Search (family business); responsible for customer acquisition and the development of digital services. The focus was on HR strategy advice and filling C-level positions at financial service providers and large corporations in the DACH region and England.
• During his PhD research, Dr. Behrens gained extensive experience at renowned financial institutions, including the Bundesbank, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, Crédit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank, and Standard Chartered Bank.
