Georg R. Steimel

Georg R. Steimel is a partner at Steinbeis Consulting Mergers & Acquisitions GmbH and has more than 25 years of experience in corporate finance, M&A, and corporate development.

His particular strength lies in combining transaction expertise with his own entrepreneurial experience. As a founder, CFO, investor, and advisor, he has supported companies at various stages of development—from growth financing and venture capital rounds to capital market transactions, corporate sales, succession planning, and distressed M&A situations.

He has particular expertise in the technology sector. As co-founder and CFO of VoiceObjects AG, he helped build a software company specializing in voice-controlled applications and oversaw its financing and growth. Other career milestones included roles at Pironet NDH AG, one of Germany’s leading Internet and IT service providers, as well as senior finance positions at GEA AG and Vivacon AG.

Before joining Steinbeis M&A in 2019, he was a partner at Capstan Capital Partners. He began his professional career at Arthur Andersen, where his responsibilities included advising on corporate transactions and financial due diligence projects.
