Jörn J. Follmer verstärkt Steinbeis M&A

Steinbeis M&A continues its expansion course and has now gained Jörn J. Follmer as a new partner, who joined our Munich office in March 2020. Mr Follmer is another specialist with an entrepreneurial background in the Services & Distribution, ICT and Consumer Goods sectors. We value his many years of experience in M&A, Financial Services and especially Capital Advisory.

Before joining Steinbeis M&A, Mr. Follmer was co-founder of several companies in which he held the position of board member. He continues to hold investments in the emerging markets and real estate sectors as well as supervisory board mandates in listed and private AGs.
He gained his understanding of the capital markets, among other things, through his many years as a limited partner and advisory board member of a German private bank and, since 2008, as an official listing partner of stock exchanges. With an exequatur from the German Foreign Office in 2010, Jörn has been appointed Honorary Consul for Jamaica with consular jurisdiction in Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg and in this capacity encounters an interesting and high-ranking clientele.

At Steinbeis M&A, Jörn J. Follmer, together with currently 15 other partners, will provide comprehensive advice to medium-sized clients, investors and responsible parties in the areas of M&A projects, distressed M&A and buy-and-build strategies. His focus is on the sectors, capital markets, emerging markets and technology.
