Gottlob Rommel strengthens its own performance competence in the field of electrical engineering

The Stuttgart-based construction specialist Gottlob Rommel continues to expand its expertise: With the acquisition of Kammerer-Firmenverbund in Metzingen, the medium-sized company is now even better positioned in a future-oriented service sector of the construction industry. Steinbeis M&A, represented by Michael Pels Leusden (Partner), comprehensively advised Gottlob Rommel Bauunternehmung on this transaction.

Since 1 April 2022, the companies Kammerer Elektrotechnik GmbH, Paul Musse Elektrotechnik GmbH and Reusch Energietechnik have been wholly owned subsidiaries of Gottlob Rommel GmbH & Co. KG. The family-run Kammerer group of companies, headquartered in Metzingen, provides the complete range of electrical engineering services in the field of building technology, including services in information and telecommunications technology. A special feature of the group is also its know-how in the service areas of control technology for hydropower and flood management as well as the creation and realisation of energy concepts – from photovoltaics and combined heat and power plants to e-mobility. “For us, the reinforcement by Kammerer Elektrotechnik as well as Musse and Reusch is an important step in order to serve our customers even more comprehensively,” explains Andy Vonderlind, spokesman for the management of Gottlob Rommel.
