Steinbeis M&A, represented by Martin G. Schmitt and Steffen Lohrer, advised the shareholders of Five1 GmbH & Co. KG (Walldorf) on the complete sale to BTC Business Technology Consulting AG (Oldenburg) and fully supported the transaction.
The company has been successful on the market for over 10 years and specialises in IT consulting services with a focus on data analytics and data science in cooperation with SAP and AWS (Amazon Web Services) and also develops its own products to complement existing solutions in order to intelligently link the systems. Five1 is excellently positioned in the market and is one of the leading German consulting firms in this niche segment, with over 100 active corporate clients, including DAX-listed groups.
BTC Business Technology Consulting AG is one of the leading IT consulting companies in Germany with ten national branches and additional locations abroad. The company with over 1,900 employees and headquarters in Oldenburg is a partner of SAP and Microsoft, AWS and ESRI. In 2020, BTC achieved a turnover of around € 222 million.
