Reinforcement at the Berlin office
Steinbeis M&A Partners is pleased to announce the appointment of Robert A.W. Schaff and Dr. Thore Behrens as Partners. They will strengthen our Berlin office and support our successful advisory services to mid-market clients.
Robert A.W. Schaff
Robert has more than 10 years of investment banking and corporate M&A experience. He has worked on numerous M&A transactions for strategic and financial investors and advised on capital raises, venture investments and restructuring projects in the German-speaking and Asia-Pacific region. Previously, he held leading roles at Saxenhammer Digital Unit (now Zumera) and Volkswagen AG. He also gained extensive experience at Nomura, Bankhaus Lampe and EY.
Robert holds a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in International Business with a focus on Finance from Maastricht University.
Dr. Thore Behrens
Thore has extensive experience in developing and scaling digital infrastructures and has worked closely with a number of industrial groups and financial institutions over the years. Previously, Thore was Vice President Special Projects at Saxenhammer Digital Unit (now Zumera). Prior to that, he held an executive role at Banking Consult Executive Search.
Thore holds a BA. International Relations from the University of Westminster, an M.Sc. in Political Economy from the LSE and a PhD on ECB Monetary Policy from the University of Warwick.
